PSBB, Dispora Closes All Sport Facilities in Jakarta

Jakarta Youth and Sport Agency (Dispora) made sure to close temporarily all sport facilities such as Sport Centers (GOR) and Youth Centers in Jakarta during Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period.

We follow instruction from governor by closing all sport facilities to prevent COVID-19 transmission

Jakarta Dispora Head, Achmad Firdaus stated, GOR and Youth Centers have been closed since city government announced Emergency Response in Jakarta and it continued until PSBB.

"We follow instruction from governor by closing all sport facilities to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he asserted, Saturday (4/18).

BPBD Uses Disaster Warning System to Socialize PSBB Regulations

According to him, sport facilities closure period refers to the Gubernatorial Regulation No. 33/2020 concerning PSBB Implementation in Handling COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta Province.

"Although the facilities are closed, we still ensure its maintenance and cleanliness. Sometimes we also spray all facilities with disinfectant," he informed.

In PSBB period, he expected residents to stay healthy and fit by doing routine exercise at home.

"Stay at home, don't forget to exercise and consume healthy foods," he asserted.
