If there is a mistake, we will correct it and ensure the data is up-to-date
City tries to improving the quality of recipients data by correcting it regularly thus the data become more up-to-date and assistance can be distributed on target.
Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan mentioned, s
o far assistance distribution has run well. With total target 1.2 million families, he added, there was a possibility that assistance did not distributed on target.Food Station Provides Rice and Cooking Oil for Staple Food Packages"If there is a mistake, we will correct it and ensure the data is up-to-date. From 1.2 million, it is reasonable if there are 1, 2, or 3 mistakes. Let's be real. Through this, we can improve the quality of our data. Some people were categorized as poor in the past, but now they are at average category because of economy improvement. But there are some people who didn't need assistance a few months ago, but need it right now," he said on Wednesday (4/22) as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.
Furthermore, he continued, his side has provided Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) for RW and urban village heads when they found any mismatch of recipients data on the field (wrong address and/or different recipient's name), thus local RW should correct it in writing through an official report and return the assistance. Thus later data will be updated and assistance can be more targeted in the future.
"On the field, there are more people who need the assistance than on the list. Why? Because many people are unemployed right now. Our part is to update the recipient list and ensure poor people who haven't been listed to be included on the list. Thus next time they can receive the assistance. Besides we can remove the names who didn't need assistance," he explained.
He ensures that next distribution will be better since it will be carried out based on the SOP.
"It is better than collecting data on the field first, because it takes time to realize the assistance. Most importantly, we need to distribute the assistance immediately. So, we prioritize it while improving the data. Insya Allah the next would be better," he stated.

Those packages are delivered using box van to each RWs every day based on the schedule. But if there are too many shipments that can't be completed in a day, the rest will be delivered on the next day. The delay is no later than a day from the specified schedule. Perumda Pasar Jaya has collaborated with various sides to ensure those packages can be delivered on target as scheduled.
