Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Cases as of April 27

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of April 27.

1,955 are still being treated in hospital

According to Ani Ruspitawati, Head of Health Resources under Jakarta Health Agency, as many as 338 out of 3,835 patients infected with COVID-19 recovered and 375 died.

"1,955 are still being treated in hospital and 1,157 are undergoing self-isolation at home, as well as 969 are still waiting for the laboratory results," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

As for the number of people without symptoms (OTG) is reaching 74 people. The number of individuals being monitored (ODP) is reaching 5,993 people (5,806 have been monitored and 187 are still being monitored). While there are 5,285 patients under surveillance (PDP), comprising 4,401 have returned to home and 896 are still being treated.

"We also intensify COVID-19 rapid tests in six cities/regencies of Jakarta and the employee health service centers (PPKP). Around 72,618 people or 4 percent have undergone rapid test, with details 2,881 tested positive for COVID-19 and 69,737 tested negative," she explained.

In addition, her side also has provided mental health services to people affected by COVID-19. Psychologists and mental health workers at the Puskesmas provide mental health and social psycho support services via telephone and WhatsApp.

"We also have online consultation service through sahabat jiwa app at sahabatjiwa-dinkes.jakarta.go.id/. For people who access, counseling services will be provided by psychologists who work at the Puskesmas," she explained.

The city also thanked various parties who had helped and collaborated in its handling and personal protective equipment aid such as hazmat suits and surgical masks, disinfectant liquid and natura.
