West Jakarta Satpol PP will Focus on Imposing Sanctions on Violators

Entering the second period of Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), West Jakarta Satpol PP will be strict in imposing sanctions on the violators.

So far we have sanctioned 100 people and sent warning letters to 10 companies

West Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Tamo Sijabat stated, starting the second period of PSBB, his side will impose sanction on violators, both residents or companies, who remain to operate even though they are not in the excluded categories. Moreover, this time the officers who are on patrol have equipped with letters of assignment and enforcement.

"So far we have sanctioned 100 people and sent warning letters to 10 companies," he added, Monday (4/27).

No Motor Vehicle Tax Penalty During PSBB

According to him, most of the violators were controlled because of not wearing face mask and gathering in groups. For companies who were sent warning letter, he ensures to shut down the workplace by force if the companies make the same mistake again for the third times.

Meanwhile for violators who are the recipients of assistance, then their assistance will be revoked. But if not, they will be sanctioned by police officers.

"In the second period of PSBB, we will ask copy of their ID card (KTP) and record their data. For companies who violate the regulations, we will give them warning, up to the third warning, we will immediately close their workplace," he stated.

His side together with TNI/Police has conducted routine patrol in three shifts at 6 AM - 10 AM, 2 PM - 7 PM, and 9 PM - 2 AM.

"Every day we deploy 400 personnel to monitor the regions," he closed.
