Satpol PP Tightens Its Monitoring on Takjil Selling Spots in North Jakarta

North Jakarta Satpol PP does not prohibit people to sell desserts to break the fast (takjil) during Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period as long as merchants and buyers still follow the COVID-19 social distancing protocols.

North Jakarta Satpol PP Civil Servant Investigation and Enforcement Section Head, Purnama mentioned, takjil selling activity is allowed to operate during PSBB, but his side will instruct his personnel to tighten monitoring on the locations.

"We will tighten our patrol by sending our personnel to monitor areas where people are seen selling takjil," he added, Monday (4/27).

Second Period of PSBB, Satpol PP will Impose Sanctions on Violators

His side will ensure all merchants and customers to wear face mask and apply physical distance, as well as prohibit merchants from selling on the roadside and sidewalk.

"Merchants are not allowed to provide facility for dine-in. We will make sure customers to order food for take away," he asserted.
