Pasar Jaya Supports City in Implementing PSBB Policy

Perumda Pasar Jaya fully supports the Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy which established by Jakarta Government in order to prevent Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) transmission.

The third is ensuring food stock is safe during COVID-19 pandemic period, especially in Ramadan month

Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Arief Nasruddin stated, his side shows its supports towards PSBB implementation by imposing three policies.

"First, we closed non-food traditional markets, such as Tanah Abang Market and others, from a month ago," he mentioned, Tuesday (4/28).

3,082 Packages Delivered to Kebon Baru Residents

Second, he continued, Pasar Jaya still serves the community by opening food markets, but in order to prevent COVID-19 transmission, his side ensures to carry out the applicable procedures.

"The third is ensuring food stock is safe during COVID-19 pandemic period, especially in Ramadan month, through cooperation with other BUMDs in food sector, such as PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya and PD. Dharma Jaya," he explained.

Related to subsidized food availability, he also made sure the stock is safe. Although currently he needs to stop this program temporarily due to PSBB.

"Subsidized food can be obtained at Pasar Jaya outlets such as JakGrosir, Mini DC, and Jakmart. But it needs to stop temporarily during PSBB. After PSBB period is over, people can get the subsidized food again," he closed.
