Let's take this responsibility as an honor and let's help each other while making sure everyone is safe
In the meeting involved 129 participants, the governor invited them to participate and collaborate with the Jakarta Provincial Government in fighting COVID-19, which has had various impacts on society, especially in the socio-economic field.
"This pandemic has had a negative impact on the economic contraction which caused the poor to increase by around 3.6 million. The challenge is to ensure that they can survive and support food supplies. What we need to discuss are rather large populations who need food supplies so we need large-scale social collaboration," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

"So if you choose one area, information will come up in the form of the number of families who need help, who is the RW chairman and what type of aid can be sent," he explained.
To smoothen aid distribution, his party had made distribution maps of citizens who need help. Around 2,000 RWs that would be categorized into three large groups are those who live in poor areas, orphans and small communities.
"We have 2,000 RW, orphanages, school dormitories, industrial houses, nursing homes for disabled people and also other groups to support. This idea was made to make everyone able to support each other. With this collaboration, we can fix economic issues in the capital," he explained.
He went on to say that this persuasive step was a form of reciprocation to the city of Jakarta, which has provided many benefits for its citizens.
"I invite you to pay back. Let's take this responsibility as an honor and let's help each other while making sure everyone is safe. By so,
Jakarta has a strong community as we make solidarity an important component to get out of challenges," he stated.
