Regency Distributes 10 Thousand Cloth Masks to 11 Inhabited Islands

The Task Force Team for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling in Thousand Islands distributed 10 thousand cloth masks for residents in 11 inhabited islands on Wednesday (4/29).

It was distributed directly to the task force team leaders and volunteers in each regions

Thousand Islands Task Force Team Leader, Junaedi stated, his side also distributed 745 portable bucket sinks, 64 staple food packages for disabled people, 11 thermoguns, 1,000 units of rapid test kits (700 units for Tidung Island and 300 units for Harapan Island), and 3 units of disinfectant chamber.

Those were donated from private funds, government agencies, and private sides.

1.5 Million Cloth Masks Distributed to Citizens for Free

"It was distributed directly to the task force team leaders and volunteers in each regions," he said.

With this assistance, his side hopes that no more residents who leave the house without wearing mask.

"Also, by providing portable bucket sinks in the settlement, people can get used to washing hands before and after doing activities," he conveyed.
