Every Day, Thousand Islands SDA Provides 200 Liters of Water for Hand Washing

Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency prepared 200 liters clean water to fill water tanks in each portable sinks placed in the settlements, government offices, and public facilities in order to anticipate COVID-19 transmission.

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Abdul Rauf conveyed, his personnel in each inhabited islands toured the island using motor carts by carrying two water drums with capacity 200 liters

"Every day our personnel go around the island to refill the water tanks with clean water from the local RO or SWRO," he said, Saturday (5/2).

Samawa Tower Has Portable Sink

According to him, his personnel refill the water tanks manually. It is done to make sure it is always filled with water thus people can use it whenever they need.

"We deploy 5-10 personnel every day, depending on the area," he mentioned.
