East Jakarta PPKUKM Involves 598 Tailors to Produce Cloth Masks

Supporting free cloth mask distribution program which initiated by Jakarta Government, East Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperative and Small Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency targeted 598 tailors in the region to produce 160,600 cloth masks.

We are still monitoring their production to ensure the quality meets the national standards

East Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Igan Muhammad Faisal stated, in order to support Jakarta Government, his side deployed 598 tailors in 152 coached IKM/UKM to produce cloth masks.

"We are still monitoring their production to ensure the quality meets the national standards," he mentioned, Wednesday (5/13).

53 Tailors in South Jakarta Produce 38,394 Cloth Masks

For cloth mask production, his side received cloth material from Jakarta PPKUKM Agency as many as 160,600 pieces. So far, his side has produced and transported 153,805 cloth masks. He targeted to finish the target this week.

"Tailors in 10 sub-districts produce the cloth masks in their houses," h e closed.
