City Wins First Place at KBM Video Competition from National House

Salute to them for being able to provide and concoct learning

The world of education in Jakarta won first place in the KBM process video competition from National House level, which is a proud achievement.

In the competition held by the P4TK TK and PLB for the Ministry of Education and Culture, the South Jakarta Kindergarten Educator for Disabled Children (TKLB) SLB-A, Anisya Yurmaniar won the first place of the Process Video Competition in Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) from Home for Kindergarten and PLB Teachers and is followed by West Jakarta SLBN 6 Educator, Wahyu Rinaningsih who has managed to win the third place.

Institutional and Learning Resources Division (PKLK) for Elementary and Special Education and Services, Suryani said, from the selection and judging results towards hundreds of participants, as many as 15 best videos have been selected, three of them are from Jakarta.

"These 15 best videos were posted on social media on Instagram and Facebook, P4TK then gave them the opportunity to get as many likes from viewers. Alhamdulillah the TKLB SLB-A got 965 likes on Instagram and 1,002 likes on Facebook," she expressed, Friday (5/15).

She is grateful and proud of the enthusiasm, innovation and creativity of educators in providing learning from home to students who have limitations.

"Salute to them for being able to provide and concoct learning, then package it in one inspiring learning video. Hopefully we can be inspired by this video," he said.

According to her, the process of teaching and learning activities in special schools is not easy and certainly becomes an extraordinary challenge for teachers. Hence, innovation and creativity of educators are important thus learning materials can be accepted by students well and pleasantly.

"Surely the teacher must understand the technique of providing learning material thus learning can be meaningful for our children. It needs good innovation and creativity. I really appreciate it, hopefully with fun learning from home, our children remain stay at home until the COVID-19 pandemic ends," she stated.
