Sanction Imposed on 29 PSBB Violators in Jatinegara

From today's monitoring of Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) implementation on Jalan Matraman Raya, Jatinegara, Satpol PP has netted 29 violators.

From total 29 violators, 12 people choose to pay administrative fine Rp 100,000 per person

Violators were sanctioned based on the Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 41/2020 Imposition of Sanctions Against PSBB Violations in Handling COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta.

Jatinegara Satpol PP mentioned, his side netted road users who didn't wear mask and public vehicle fleets which are over capacity.

"From total 29 violators, 12 people choose to pay administrative fine Rp 100,000 per person. Because they are ashamed to carry out social work san ction such as cleaning the public facilities," he explained, Monday (5/19).

For those who are disobedient, his side will fine the violators maximum Rp 250,000 per person.

"Those sanctions were expected to give deterrent effect for the violators," he said.
