Today, as many as 20 merchants of Perumnas Klender Market, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta carried out Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) rapid test. This test was held because two merchants were suspected to be positive COVID-19 from hospital's swab test result.

We hold rapid test and swab test for 20 merchants in Perumnas Klender Market

Duren Sawit Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Rita Wedya Astuti mentioned, two merchants who were suspected positive COVID-19 have been treated at Emergency Hospital of Wisma Atlet and RSUK Duren Sa wit.

"We hold rapid test and swab test for 20 merchants in Perumnas Klender Market. It is done to find out whether other merchants are exposed to COVID-19 or not," she explained, Friday (5/22).

From the result of today's rapid test, her side found 2 merchants were reactive. However, her side needs to find out whether they were positively exposed to COVID-19 or not from the swab test result that will come out on the next three days.

According to her, today's rapid test planned to be given to 30 merchants but her side only examined 20 merchants who had direct contact with the two merchants who were confirmed positive COVID-19. The other 10 merchants have negative result on rapid test because their stalls are far from the suspected COVID-19. Although it is negative, those 10 merchants were also carry out swab test.
