The Thousand Islands COVID-19 Handling Task Force team received the social aid in the form of staple food and protective gears from residents of Lotus Palace housing, Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta, on Tuesday (6/2).
Thousand Islands Regent Husein Murad expressed his grateful over the aid to lighten lower-income families' burden in Thousand Islands amid COVID-19 crisis.

He added each package contained 10 tons of rice, 2,000 liters of cooking oil and 300 boxes of instant noodle, all packaged in 2,000 packages, as well as 100 hamzat suits and 1,000 cloth masks.
"Hopefully it can be distributed according to the target," he hoped.
