Thousand Islands Receive Aid Package from KSBB Program

Thank you for the attention and the aid for our people

The Thousand Islands COVID-19 Handling Task Force Team has received assistance from the large-scale social collaboration (KSBB) program from various companies, government agencies and social organizations, on Wednesday (5/13).

The assistance was directly received by the COVID-19 Handling Task Force Chairman Husein Murad and his ranks at Mitra Praja Office, Sunter, North Jakarta.

"Thank you for the attention and the aid for our people. We will send it to 11 residential islands in Thousand Islands," he told.

He stated assistance received included 25.5 tons of rice and 2,100 boxes of instant noodles worth Rp 500 million from Seadoo Club Indonesia dan Paguyuban Pulau Tengah.

There were also personal protective equipment (PPE) packages from Jelambar Bank BRI in the form of 50 boxes of masks, 20 boxes of gloves, 50 pieces of face shield, 50 pieces of hamzat suits, 5 gallons of disinfectant, 50 boxes of vitamin E, as well as 50 bottles of vitamin C and 2,000 cloth masks from the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).

Bank DKI also sent social aid in the form of 500 staple food packages, comprising 5 kilograms of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, sarden, tea and coffee. There were also sanitation tools from Artha Graha Peduli in the form of 500 sritex cloth masks, 200 rider cloth masks, 300 swell cloth masks and 300 pieces of hand washing buckets.

"Hopefully it can lighten the citizens' burden and help stop the chain of COVID-19 spread," he hoped.
