58,016 Masks Delivered to Six Urban Villages in Thousand Islands

The Jakarta Provincial Government distributed 58,016 cloth masks to its citizens for free through local RT/RW in six urban villages spread over Thousand Islands, Friday (5/8).
Each person will get two masks
"Each person will get two masks," expressed Jakarta Governance Administrative (Tapem) Bureau, M Burhanuddin Alamsah, after the direct distribution through the village apparatus.
Those urban villages were Harapan Island (5,288 masks), Kelapa Island (14,354 masks), Panggang Island (14,126 masks), Pari Island (7,266 masks), Tidung Island (11,992 masks) and Untung Jawa Island (4,990 masks).

"Hopefully citizens can wear masks when outside the home," he hoped.
Besides masks, the Thousand Islands also gave aid from individuals, private parties and civil servants in the form of rice, personal protective equipment (PPE) for medical workers, 1,000 cloth masks per urban village, hand sanitizers and disinfectant liquid.
