34 People Rebuked for Violating PSBB in Kramat Jati Market

Of 34 people, 17 are subjected to social work sanctions and 12 are fined by Rp 250,000 per person

At least 34 people have been subject to social work and administrative sanctions for breaking the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) rules in Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta, Tuesday (7/9).

"Of 34 people, 17 are subjected to social work sanctions and 12 are fined by Rp 250,000 per person," expressed, Kramat Jati Sub-district Head, Eka Darmawan.

He went on to say that the other five were brought to Ciracas Sport Hall (GOR) to undergo a self-quarantine for not having an identity. They could go home if their family comes to take them.

To minimize the potential for coronavirus, he urged the market caretakers to soon form the COVID-19 handling task force team.

"The task force's personnel is recruited from internal caretakers and collaborate with traders in the market," he stated.
