Satpol PP: 13,840 PSBB Violators Along April 24 to May 28

The Jakarta Satpol PP has noted that there have been 13,840 violations during large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) throughout April 24 to May 28. 

It applies to all of us without exception, so we have to obey it together

Based on the data gathered, controlling or sanction is given to 3,704 business places, 17 factories, 32 offices and 10,087 people.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head Arifin acknowledged sanctions or actions given are written warnings, sealing, administrative fines and social work in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation number 41/2020.

Violating PSBB, 175 Business Places in Cengkareng Controlled

"Sealing is given to 452 business places, written warning is for 9,176 people, administrative fine is for 910 people and social work is for 3,302 people. The amount of fines collected is amounting to Rp 493,500,000 that will be transferred to the regional treasury," he expressed, Friday (5/29).

He explained the majority of violations committed are facilitating eating and drinking on the spot, many companies outside the business sector category are still operating and most people do not wear masks when leaving the house.

"Intensive sweeping is done to ensure that they obediently run PSBB rules in a bid to stop the chain the COVID-19 pandemic. It applies to all of us without exception, so we have to obey it together," he stressed.
