430 Tidung Island Residents Have Undergone Rapid Test

From April 13 until June 10, total 430 residents of Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, have undergone rapid test which held by South Thousand Islands Sub-district Puskemas every Wednesday at the local urban village office.

Residents who took the test have been selected by urban village and Safe Island Task Force Team

South Thousand Islands Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Ilmi Tri Indarto conveyed, rapid test is carried out routinely thus COVID-19 transmission in Thousand Islands can be prevented early.

"Residents who took the test have been selected by urban village and Safe Island Task Force Team. Allegedly, they have interacted with COVID-19 suspects or stopped in the red zones," he conveyed, Wednesday (6/10).

Rapid test will be carried out continuously as long as the supply of rapid test kit is still available until zero case in Thousand Islands.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah conveyed, his side targeted rapid test to be carried out for all Tidung Island residents because previously the region has been included in red zone category.

"Especially for residents who often enter and leave the islands for emergency needs," he asserted.
