Jakarta Government through Jakarta Task Force for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling informed the latest COVID-19 cases in Jakarta on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

Jakarta Health Agency Head, Widyastuti mentioned, there is additional 147 positive cases of COVID-19 thus it becomes total 8,423 COVID-19 confirmed cases in Jakarta. From that number, 3,517 people recovered and 551 people died.
"1,429 patients are being treated in hospitals and 2,929 people are doing self-isolation at home," she said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

On Tuesday (6/9), there was additional COVID-19 confirmed cases which quite high in Jakarta that reaches 234 cases. It caused by new cases report from hospitals, the result of active case finding at health centers (Puskesmas), and accumulation of new cases reported by hospitals with detail as follows;
• 84 cases reported from 8 hospitals in Jakarta.
• 110 cases reported from 20 Puskesmas in Jakarta as a part of increase in active case finding in areas with high potential of transmission such as: markets, public places, RWs categorized as strict control areas (WPK).
• Active case finding reported by Puskesmas based on Health Agency Head's Circular Letter No. 94/SE/2020 concerning COVID-19 Active Case Finding as of June 4, 2020.
• 2 hospitals (1 referral hospital and 1 BUMN hospital) have reported 40 accumulated COVID-19 confirmed cases.
Jakarta Government has increased the examination capacity using RT-PCR method by building COVID-19 Satllite Laboratory located at Pasar Minggu Hospital and Duren Sawit Regional Hospital (RSUD) since April 9, 2020 and building network with 41 COVID-19 laboratories. Until June 9, city government has collected 183,889 samples through PCR test.
In detail, 171,093 people have undergone rapid test with positive COVID-19 percentage reaches 4 percent or 6,265 people with reactive results and 164,828 people with non-reactive result.
"We always urge people to follow health protocols, such as wearing mask, often washing hands with soap and running water or using hand sanitizer, and maintaining minimum distance of 1.5-2 meters between people," she added.
Jakarta Government is still opening up opportunities for people who want to take a part in providing assistance for those who affected by COVID-19 pandemic through the Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) program. Donators can choose to provide assistance in form of staple foods, ready meals, or cash.
From April 24, 2020 to June 9, 2020 at 2 PM
