Swab Test Provided for Pregnant Women at Dahlia RPTRA

Today, tens pregnant women and toddlers undergone swab test at Dahlia Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Tengah Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.

We visit residents' houses and encourage them to take the test

It was Kramat Jati Sub-district Health Center (Puskesmas) which initiated swab test for pregnant women and toddlers in order to prevent COVID-19 transmission, especially to the vulnerable groups.

Initially, it was targeted to test 76 pregnant women and 15 toddlers. But it couldn't reach the target thus health workers visited houses of pregnant women and toddlers who have been recorded at RW 01,02, and 04.

Kramat Jati Puskesmas Head, Inda Mutiara conveyed, there were 46 pregnant women and 2 toddlers who were tested.

"Because total participants don't meet the target, so we visit residents' houses and encourage them to take the test," she explained, Friday (6/12).

In order to carry out this test, her side deployed 20 health workers from Puskesmas in urban villages and Kramat Jati Sub-district. The result will be issued in the next two days. Her side hoped the result would be negative.
