COVID-19, 60 Persons with Disabilities on Tidung Island Receive Staple Food Aid

The Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, distributed staple food packages to 60 persons with disabilities.

"The aid is from the Social Ministry's Directorate of Social Rehabilitation for persons with disabilities and directly distributed to the rightful citizens," said Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah, Tuesday (6/23).

Maesaro, one of persons with disabilities admitted that she was very grateful to get the food aid and hoped that the COVID-19 pandemic could end soon.

"This is very important for us, as there is no input for families during the pandemic," she closed.
