During the Pandemic, Vice Governor Reminds Jakartans to Optimize Online Public Service

Several public service facilities in Jakarta have returned to operate gradually in the transition period of Large-scale Social Restriction. One of them is Jakarta Public Service Mall (MPP).

In this chance, Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria (Ariza) monitored health protocols implementation and public service which carried out at Jakarta MPP, on Jalan HR. Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Thursday (6/25).

His side appreciated MPP for implementing health protocols during the transitional PSBB period. Although residents can access MPP for face-to-face service, his side recommended residents for optimizing online service that has been provided since it can reduce the occurrence of physical interaction during the pandemic.

"I have checked health protocols implementation from the entrance to every floors, all the officers have complied with health protocols by maintaining distance, installing acrylic for counter window, wearing face shield, mask, wash their hands, and so on. We ensure all units in Jakarta to comply with COVID-19 protocols. Direct interaction during transition period is potentially high, especially this service unit receive many customers who want to take care of their licenses. So, we need to ensure it has been implemented well in here," he explained as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

Besides, he also ensured services which provided by Jakarta Government through PMPTSP Agency at MPP to run well. His side also expected all service systems, both online and offline, have run well.

"Moreover, MPP also provides 316 service points at urban villages, sub-districts, and Regency/Municipalities Offices. Here we have MPP that provides good service with clean and neat office. We also need to convey this to the public that licensing can be done independently. Hopefully this trust can be optimized by residents to take care of their own licensing," he mentioned.

For information, MPP has been reopened to the public since June 15, 2020. Previously, from March 17, 2020 PMPTSP temporarily closed licensing services at 316 service points and MPP in order to control the COVID-19 outbreak.
