Ariza Inspects Health Protocols Implementation at Baru Metro Atom Market

Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria (Ariza) held health protocols inspection at Baru Metro Atom Market, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta on Wednesday (6/24). His side wanted to make sure that health protocols were carried out by merchants and customers.

"We have checked the sinks. There are also officers who check visitor's body temperature. Besides, this market also install footprint signs to know the walking direction, PD. Pasar Jaya also prepares face shield for officers on duty and merchants. Everything is in accordance with the regulations," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

His side expected that by complying with health protocols, it can ease the public who worry about market that can be the cluster of COVID-19 spread. Jakarta Government will continue to ensure markets in Jakarta to give the best service in the midst of pandemic period.

"Our job is to ensure markets in giving best service to the local residents, customers, and provide an affordable prices. We want customers to feel safe by ensuring markets in Jakarta have implemented COVID-19 prevention protocols well. Thus customers don't need to worry as long as they have complied with health protocols," he asserted.

This inspection also attended by Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Arief Nasruddin; Central Jakarta Mayor, Bayu Meghantara; Satpol PP Head, Arifin; Sawah Besar Sub-district Head and Pasar Baru Urban Village Head.
