2020 HANI, City Receives P4GN Award from BNN

The Jakarta Provincial Government got the award the program of the national strategy on illicit drug distribution prevention and eradication (P4GN program) from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).

The award was given at the top event of the commemoration of 2020 International Anti Narcotics Day (HANI) at Jakarta BNNP Office, Central Jakarta, Friday (6/26) noon. Symbolically, Jakarta Vice Governor Ahmad Riza Patria received the award from the Head of Jakarta BNNP.
"On the behalf of the city government, I'm here today to represent Mr. Governor. Today we have received the award from BNN whereby we contribute to help prevention and handling of drugs. Today is a good day for us, International Anti-Narcotics Day, it is our duty as leaders, either informal or formal, especially government leaders and all residents to fight drugs," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.
Jakarta Receives International Award in Transportation FieldHe went on to say that there should be cooperation from all components of the nation to continue to carry out the P4GN program in the capital. Therefore, he urged Jakartans to continuously increase the synergy of the threat of drug abuse and narcotics crime.
"Jakarta as the capital as the center of various activities certainly becomes the target location for the circulation of drugs. That's why we have taken policies to ensure cooperation with Jakarta BNN to make Jakarta free from drugs. Dealers must be captured and put on trial as a deterrent effect," he asserted.

3. Karimun Regency Education Agency, Government Agency category, given at Riau BNNP Office
4. Denpasar Pemogan Village, Government Agency category, given at BNPP Bali Office
5. Bireun Regency Administration, Government Agency category, given at BNPB Aceh Office
6. Pasunda University, Educational Environment category, given at West Java BNNP Office
7. Independent Islamic Institute of Education, Educational Environment category, given at Southeast Sulawesi BNNP Office
8. LSM PERANK (Indonesian Anti Narcotics Association), Community Components category, given at Banten BNNP Office
9. Reno Candra Sangaji, Individual category, given at DIY BNPP Office
10. Hj. Ayuti Ekaputri, Individual category, given at BNPP Office
11. Mochammad Farisi, Individual category, given at Jambi BNPP Office
12. Muh. Qumarudin, Individual category, given at Papua BNPP Office
As for the information, in the transition period, P4GN awards differ from previous years as they were submitted at the respective BNNP areas, then held a Video Conference to be connected to each region. The commemoration of 2020 HANI took theme "Living 100% in the Era of New Normal Conscious, Productive Healthy & Happy without Drugs".
The event itself was opened by the Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, and followed virtual online via Live Streaming Broadcast, among others by the Central Government Institution; Ministry and Non-Ministry Institutions; State Higher Institution heads, Working Cabinet ministers; Regional Government heads; Central and Regional Government officials; State Ambassadors; and Anti Narcotics activists.
