Jakarta Scout Rakerda was carried out online to show that Jakarta Scout's compliance with government's regulation in order to avoid activity which gathered people in one place.
This virtual Rakerda got appreciation from Anies and in his remarks, he encouraged all members of Scout Movement who were known as people with tough personality to be able to adapt and become pioneers in complying with health protocols during the pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic gives impacts to the mankind, including millions citizens of Jakarta. Some residents need food assistance and other basic needs for living. He invited the Scout Movement to continue assisting government in social solidarity actions by establishing partnership.
He also hopes Rakerda 2020 will be able to produce scouting activities, urban scouting, especially that related to the efforts in handling COVID-19 pandemic. "Hopefully these activities are useful for the scouts and Jakarta residents," he added.
Jakarta Rakerda was joined by 150 Kwartir branches in Jakarta, including Regional Mainstay. Participants also received inputs from Jakarta Youth and Sport Agency Head, Achmad Firdaus and Jakarta Education Agency's representative, Junaedi.
Jakarta Scout Kwarda Head, Fadjar Panjaitan stated, since March 2020, Jakarta Scout carried out many COVID-19 countermeasures and community service activities in Kwartir branches and the frontliners. For example by providing personal protective equipment (PPE) to health workers in COVID-19 referral hospitals, namely RS Persahabatan, RSUD Pasar Minggu, RS Koja, RS Cengkareng, RS Tarakan, RS Pelni, RS Duren Sawit, and RS Fatmawati.
Furthermore, his side also produced and sprayed disinfectant, carried out online training, distributed mask, assistance, and others. On the last Ramadan and Eid, his side formed 'Pramuka Peduli Jakarta' movement where the members provided takjil and supplementary food for health workers who serve at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran.
Moreover, his side collaborated with COVID-19 Task Force Coordinator Team-19. Until now, Pramuka Peduli Kwarter Ranting Johar Baru in Central Jakarta, continues to distribute food assistance to the health workers at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran.
"Jakarta Kwarda also helped to wrap 25,000 packages of Health and Clean Lifestyle (PHBS) assistance for Jakarta residents which managed by Central PMI. Each package contained of soap, mask, and tea bags. We hope Jakarta Scout can continue to be role model for Jakarta residents," he closed.
