16,937 People Enjoy Cycling in North Jakarta

The North Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency has noted that as many as 16,937 residents have enjoyed cycling sport which held on six streets in North Jakarta, Sunday (6/28) yesterday.

According to Harlem Simanjuntak, Head of North Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency, those six streets were Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan, Jalan Pulau Maju Bersama, Jalan Kelapa Hibrida, Artery Street of Kali Sunter RBS, Jalan Benyamin Suaeb and Artery Street of Pegangsaan Dua.

"In general it runs well and orderly," he stated, Monday (6/29).

Of 16,937 people, 10,323 out of them were cyclists and the rest 6,614 were joggers.

He asserted its implementation was directly supervised by 319 joint officers of police, army, Satpol PP and Transportation Agency. It was done to direct visitors to comply with health protocols during exercise.

"We also provide portable sink and hand sanitizer in each location," he told.
