National Family Day, North Jakarta Targets to Serve 2,548 KB Acceptors

Commemorating the 27th National Family Day (Harganas), North Jakarta Administration held free service for family planning (KB) acceptors. This service targeted 2,548 people to be KB acceptors.

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim mentioned, a healthy family should be planned through KB. Thus each urban village in North Jakarta was targeted to serve at least 83 KB acceptors.

Posyandu Services Diverted to PuskesmasFurthermore, his side appreciated North Jakarta Kodim 0502 Unit who distribute staple food packages for the KB acceptors.
North Jakarta PKK Team Leader, Suni Sigit Wijatmoko assessed, Harganas event can be a perfect moment to remind people that family is foundation of a strong state.
"People's enthusiasm in joining KB program is quite good. KB program is very important to realize a planned, healthy, and happy family," she asserted.
The Main Auditor of National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN), Agus Sukiswo mentioned, this year his side is targeting to serve 1 million KB acceptors in Indonesia. In the midst of pandemic, his side ensures to prioritize health protocols in providing the service.
"BKKBN's challenge during the pandemic is to serve people who want to be KB acceptors in midwife and puskesmas (health center). We will work optimally to fulfill the residents needs during the COVID-19 pandemic," he conveyed.
