Cilangkap to Give Out 66,888 Masks to Its Citizens

The Cilangkap Urban Village Urban Village, East Jakarta is about to distribute 66,888 free masks to its citizens living in six RWs. 

We have cooperated with RT/RW to distribute them door to door to comply with physical distancing rules

Cilangkap Urban Village Head Nasir Sugiar said those masks were from the Jakarta Provincial Government, which aims to protect locals from COVID-19 outbreak. Every person received two pieces.

"We have cooperated with RT/RW to distribute them door to door to comply with physical distancing rules," he expressed, Thursday (7/2).

Therefore his party obliged citizens to wear masks when leaving home. It was because those who do not wear masks during the PSBB would be subject to social work sanctions and administrative fine of Rp 250,000.

"This is given as a deterrent effect," he stressed.

He added, from 66,888 masks, 12,242 were for RW 01, 9,528 were for RW 02, 12,642 were for Rp 03, 12,044 were f or RW 04, 8,288 were for RW 05 and 12,144 were for RW 06.
