Glodok Market Closed Until the Next Three Days

Glodok Market in Taman Sari Sub-district, West Jakarta, is closed temporarily after COVID-19 positive cases found in the market.

Starting today until the next three days, we temporarily close Glodok Market

Taman Sari Sub-district Head, Risan H. Mustar stated, before closing the market, his side conducted swab test for 128 people in this market on June 19. From the results, 124 people are negative while the other four people are positive COVID-19.

"Starting today until the next three days, we temporarily close Glodok Market," he asserted, Thursday (7/2).

City to Tighten Health Protocols Implementation in Market and KRL

According to him, his side involved three pillars and market management for closing the market. During this closure, his side will sterilize all areas in the market and its facilities with disinfectant.

His side hopes after it is reopened, market and its surrounding can be sterilized from COVID-19.

"We close it to sterilize the area in order to curb the spread of COVID-19," he closed.
