Elders at Nursing House in Kramat Jati Take Swab Test

As many as 36 elders at Tresna Wherda Budi Mulia 3 Nursing House, Jl. Dukuh V RT 09/03, Dukuh Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, took COVID-19 swab tests on Wednesday (7/8).

There are 30 elders and 6 employees from the nursing house who take the test

Before taking the tests, personnel registered their data and checked their body temperature using thermal gun. In order to make the atmosphere more relaxed, elders were entertained with music.

Kramat Jati Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Inda Mutiara conveyed, swab test was conducted to ensure whether any of the elders develop COVID-19 or not. The test result would be known within a week.

"There are 30 elders and 6 employees from the nursing house who take the test. They are tested by 15 health workers from Kramat Jati Sub-district Puskesmas," she explained.

Dukuh Urban Village Puskesmas Head, Elviena Tauvany mentioned, personnel used door-to-door method in taking the swab test because most of the participants were elders.

"We will continue to provide swab test with door-to-door system," she closed.
