Here is the Latest Information Regarding COVID-19 Cases in Jakarta on July 4, 2020

Jakarta Government through Task Force for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling conveyed the latest information regarding COVID-19 cases in Jakarta on Tuesday, July 4, 2020.

While it reaches 27,507 people in monitoring (ODP) and 18,097 patients under supervision (PDP)

Jakarta Health Agency's Health Resources Division Head, Ani Ruspitawati mentioned, there were additional 215 positive cases. Thus, in total it reaches 12,039 positive cases of COVID-19 in Jakarta. From that number, 7,377 people have recovered and 650 people died.

"As of today, 646 patients are still undergoing treatment at hospitals and 3,366 people carry out self-isolation at home. While it reaches 27,507 people in monitoring (ODP) and 18,097 patients under supervision (PDP)," she said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

Jakarta Provincial Government had also increased capacity for examination using RT-PCR method by building COVID-19 Satellite Laboratory which located in RSUD Pasar Minggu and RSUD Duren Sawit since April 9, 2020 and building network with 41 COVID-19 laboratories

Cumulatively, as of July 3, her side has collected 330,926 samples through PCR test. On July 3, PCR test has been carried out for 4,839 people. As many as 4,199 tests were taken to diagnose the new case, with total 215 positive and 3,984 negative results.

Total 246,372 people have undergone rapid tests, with 3.5 percent positive of COVID-19, where 8,569 people have reactive and 237,735 people have non-reactive results. Those with positive results were referred to take PCR swab test. If the result is positive, they will be referred to be treated in Wisma Atlet, hospitals or carried out self-isolation at home.

Until this day, Jakarta Government still monitors health protocols compliance in malls, tourist destinations, markets, and SIKM checkpoints together with integrated SKPD teams. Those who violate the regulations will be warned or fined. Government will also close business places that are not allowed to operate during PSBB, such as bar house and massage parlor.

"We urge Jakarta residents to always pay attention to health protocols by wearing mask, often washing hands with soap and running water or using hand sanitizer, and maintaining physical distance minimum 1.5-2 meters," she said.

Jakarta Provincial Government is still opening opportunity for residents who want to provide assistance to the others who affected by COVID-19 through Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) Program.
