Monitoring of KBRL Usage Conducted in Pasar Rebo

Monitoring of the use of eco-friendly shopping bags (KBRL) still carried out continuously. This time, Pasar Rebo Sub-district, East Jakarta, inspected three traditional markets and several convenience stores. The result, more traders in traditional markets turn to use KBRL.

Pasar Rebo Sub-district Deputy Head, Santoso mentioned, today his side inspected Cijantung Market, spilled market (group of traders who peddle wares on the street beyond the traditional markets) on Jalan Belly, spilled market on Jalan Gandaria and several convenience markets in Pekayon Urban Village. This monitoring was carried out in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation No. 142/2019 concerning Obligation to Use Eco-friendly Shopping Bags in Shopping Centers, Supermarkets, and Traditional Markets.

KBRL Usage Monitored in Kebon Jeruk Sub-district

"From our monitoring, more traders who provide eco-friendly shopping bags. While all convenience stores have complied with this regulation," he stated, Thursday (7/9).

His side will continue to socialize traders and customers to use eco-friendly shopping bags. One of his efforts is to install banners in several strategic locations to encourage more people to use KBRL.

"We also suggest traditional market management to provide KBRL sellers at the market to facilitate the customers," he said.
