10 PSBB Offenders Punished for Not Wearing Mask

Joint personnel deployed to monitor Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) implementation at Laris Taman Surya 5 Market and public facilities at RW 09 and 17, Pegadungan Urban Village, Kalideres, West Jakarta.

In this operation, 10 residents were netted because not wearing mask and sanctioned to sweep the road.

Pegadungan Urban Village Head, Adith Pratama stated, this operation was carried out to make people more discipline in implementing health protocols to prevent COVID-19 spread.

"There are 10 residents who don't wear mask. We record their data and give them sanction to sweep the road," he asserted, Tuesday (7/14).

According to him, this operation was in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 41/2020 concerning Imposition of Sanctions Against PSBB Violations in Handling COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta and Pergub No. 51/2020 concerning Implementation of Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) During the Transitional Period towards Healthy, Safe and Productive Community by imposing social sanctions to the offenders.

"We hold PSBB operation regularly. We involve personnel from TNI, police, LMK, FKDM, market management, and Karang Taruna in this operation," he closed.
