459 Infiltration Wells Have Been Built in South Jakarta

The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency says as many as 459 infiltration wells have been built at 135 points spread over 10 sub-districts.
Its development is part of the Regional Strategic Activities (KSD) in order to overcome the problem of flooding in the rainy season
South Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head Mustajab said that the initial existence of infiltration wells was only 428 units at 119 points. But its number increased by 31 units at 16 points in March.

Two Infiltration Wells are Being Built in Lancang IslandOf 459 wells, 56 out of them were in Pesanggrahan, 55 were in Setiabudi, 53 were in Kebayoran Baru, 32 were in Kebayoran Lama, 50 were Cilandak, 48 were in Jagakarsa, 43 were in Mampang Prapatan, 42 were in Pasar Minggu and Tebet were 38 were in Pancoran.
He added, there are 10 urban villages in South Jakarta that are designated as priority locations for the infiltration well development pilot project. They are Cipedak, Srengseng Sawah, Jatipadang, Cilandak Barat, Cipete Utara, Pondok Labu, Lebak Bulus, Pesanggrahan, Mampang and Karet Semanggi.
"We'll build wells in strategic locations such as urban village and sub-district offices, RPTRAs, schools, urban parks to mosques in local government offices," he closed.
