Mud Dredging in Cideng River Accelerated

The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency continues to speed up mud dredging work in the Cideng River, Kuningan Timur, Setiabudi, which has been ongoing since October 23, 2019.

Junjung, Head of South Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Maintenance Division Head Junjung said the river was dredged up to 17 meters length. To conduct it, his side had deployed two heavy equipments type amphibious and long arm.

"We also send five units of dump truck to pick up mud every day," he expressed, Wednesday (7/15).

There were also eight personnel of taskforces at the location. This project was executed to accommodate water in large quantities when it rains.

"Every day our dump truck can transport doubled mud from the dredging," he stated.
