Clean, Beautiful, Healthy and Safe Movement Promulgated in Thousand Islands

We're doing this to realize safe tourism while maintaining health protocols

The Tourism and Creative Economic Ministry together with Jakarta Tourism and Economic Creative (Parekraf) Agency and Thousand Islands Regency is campaigning the movement of clean, beautiful, healthy and safe (BISA). This activity, which is held since Tuesday (7/21) until Wednesday (7/22), began on Untung Jawa Island, South Thousand Islands and ended in Muara Angke, North Jakarta.

Jakarta Parekraf Agency Head Cucu Ahmad Kurnia said it was done to welcome the new normal era during COVID-19 pandemic in the tourism sector in Jakarta.

His agency kept campaigning BISA movement to tourists and tourism business actors regarding standard operating procedures (SOP) for services that implement strict supervision of health protocols.

"We're doing this to realize safe tourism while maintaining health protocols," he expressed, when he gave a speech in the hall of Untung Jawa Island TPI, Tuesday (7/21).

On the other hand, the movement involving about 100 people of tourism and catering services received support from Thousand Islands Vice Regent Junaedi. He stated, the activity would continue with painting of tourism facilities and infrastructure in Thousand Islands.

"Hopefully it is capable of educating safe tourism during the pandemic to the public, as well as improve the Thousand Islands tourism sector," he hoped.
