Bakesbangpol Appreciates Students for Campaigning Jakarta's Tourism

Jakarta National Unity and Politics Agency (Bakesbangpol) appreciated Institute for Tourism and Nature Lovers Islamic Students (Leppami) of PB Indonesian Student Association (HMI) who held tourism campaign to support economic growth in the capital city of Jakarta.

Health protocols are implemented in several tourist destinations

"Tourism campaign which promoted by Leppami PB HMI is extraordinary because it can provide understanding of healthy living to public, thus tourism sector starts to improve through compliance with health protocols," said Taufan Bakri when attending Tourism Campaign of New Normal Era at Maritime Museum, on Friday (7/17).

According to him, Jakarta Government has reopened several tourist destinations in Jakarta during the transitional PSBB period while implementing health protocols.

"Health protocols are implemented in several tourist destinations, such as restrictions on number of visitors, requiring visitors to wear mask, and providing hand washing facilities with soap to prevent COVID transmission," he added.

Bakornas Leppami PB HMI Executive Director, M. Jusrianto encouraged all parties to cooperate in implementing health protocols in the capital's tourism sector during transitional PSBB period.

"We hope Jakarta Government can enforce strict sanctions for citizens who don't comply with health protocols. Residents are also encouraged to take an active role to help government in handling COVID-19 outbreak and improving  economic growth through tourism sector," he asserted.
