Koja Majelis Taklim Waste Bank Trains Street Children to Be Entrepreneurs

Majelis Taklim Waste Bank of Koja Sub-district, North Jakarta trains street children to be entrepreneurs related to AC service. Not only providing training, but those children will also be assisted to start their own business.

We just start it as a pilot project

Koja Sub-district Majelis Taklim Waste Bank Director, Iing Solihin mentioned, this training has been carried out since early of this July. At first, his side trained two street children.

"We just start it as a pilot project. We will gradually increase number of participants and trainings," he said, Saturday (7/25).

According to him, not only training those children how to repair AC, but his side also providing the tools. Until now, his side is still assisting the participants.

"Currently they give promotion by providing AC cleaning in mosque for free," he stated.
