24 Tugu Selatan Residents Netted in OK Prend Operation

From OK Prend operation held in Tugu Selatan Urban Village, on Jl. Raya Perjuangan Tanah Merah, on Tuesday (7/28), as many as 24 people were netted because of violating PSBB regulations.

We hope residents can be more obedient

Tugu Selatan Urban Village Head, Sukarmin stated, 5 of 24 violators paid fines Rp 100,000 per person while the others were sentenced to sweep the road as the part of social sanctions.

"In this operation, we target people who are still gathered in one place and road users who are not wearing mask," he added.

Satpol PP Acts as Public's Friend Through OK Prend

According to him, his side has intensified health protocols socialization to the residents by encouraging people to wear mask, maintain physical distance, wash hands using soap (3M) to protect themselves from COVID-19. But his side still founds violations.

"We hope residents can be more obedient. As we know transitional PSBB regulations are made to protect us all from COVID-19 transmission," he asserted.
