According to Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, Acting Head of Jakarta PPKUKM Agency, 82 malls in Jakarta had implemented health protocols routinely.

"We call on them to routinely spray disinfectant all workplaces, store areas, tenants, including facilities, work equipment and surfaces that are often touched by employees," she expressed, Tuesday (7/28).

Her agency already had various ways to handle reports on employees without symptoms (OTG), individuals being monitored (ODP) and patients under surveillance (PDP) or positive confirmation of COVID-19.

"To handle it, we will involve the COVID-19 Handling Task Force team," she explained.

She continued each mall management should close the tenant for least 1x24 hours to conduct the cleaning with disinfectant liquid if there was a case finding. It was in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation number 51/2020 on Transitional PSBB.

"Article 10 mentions temporary cessation of activity at workplace activity during the cleaning and disinfection process for at least 1x24 hours," she explained.

She added the mitigation undertaken for the mall was to intensify supervision and monitoring to ensure health protocols.

"Hopefully they can run the rules optimally," she hoped.
