SDA Agency Data Portal Provides Information and Data Related to Water Management in Jakarta

Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Agency has a data management information media platform through portaldatadsda.jakarta.go.id. This platform contains of data and information related to existing water management infrastructure in Jakarta.
It also contains information needed by SDA personnel in carrying out their main duties
Jakarta SDA Agency's Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) Administration Sub-division Head, Gde Made Panji conveyed, by accessing the platform, users can find various information, such as related to Water Treatment Plants (IPA)s, Wastewater Treatment Plants (IPAL)s, reservoirs, rivers, heavy equipment, inundation location data since 2016, stationer pumps, water sluice gates, PHB channels, and others.
"Not only information about water management infrastructures, but it also contains information needed by SDA personnel in carrying out their main duties, such as information about inundation locations and legal product related to SDA Agency," he conveyed, Tuesday (7/28).

Development of SDA's data portal has been started since 2016 and it continues to be updated each years based on the needs.
"Its development includes increasing number of data which managed within the portal and enhancing its features," he added.
According to him, SDA Pusdatin began to design and develop data portal independently, starting from database and user interface aspects. There are several stages in the process such as identification of user needs, database design, user interface design, programming, testing, and implementation.
"This data portal also made to answer several data issues, such as data is not available, data is inaccurate, data is inconsistent, access to data is difficult, data is not structured properly, and so on," he mentioned.
