Health Protocols Monitoring at MRT and Train Stations Intensified

We send them to ensure passengers comply with health protocols such as using masks, washing hands and maintaining physical distancing

Some 80 personnel under South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency were alerted to monitor health protocols at MRT Jakarta and commuter train stations spread over South Jakarta area.

Budi Setiawan, Head of South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency disclosed the monitoring was done to prevent an increase in COVID-19 cases as the return of the odd-even traffic policy.

MRT Jakarta Imposes Longer Operating Hours Up to 10 PM

"We send them to ensure passengers comply with health protocols such as using masks, washing hands and maintaining physical distancing," he expressed, Monday (8/3).

He explained those stations in question were MRT Asean, Lebak Bulus, H Nawi, Istora Mandiri, Setiabudi Astra, Blok A, Cipete Raya, Blok M, as well as Manggarai, Kebayoran, Tebet and so forth.

"Hopefully this action is able to stop the chain of COVID-19 outbreak in public transportation services," he stated.
