COVID-19 Socialization in East Jakarta Has Touched 525 Locations Along July

Of 525 locations, 211 of them are in residential areas, 310 are in places of worship and 4 are in educational facilities

The East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency has socialized the prevention of the COVID-19 transmission and the danger of fire in 525 locations during July.

According to Muchtar Zakaria, Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency, socialization was intensified every day in residential areas, educational facilities and places of worship.

"Of 525 locations, 211 of them are in residential areas, 310 are in places of worship and 4 are in educational facilities," he expressed, Tuesday (8/4).

Besides patrol, he continued, officers also made use of the loudspeaker in the mosque or musala.

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Prevention Division Head Edi Parwoko added, to support it, the sub-agency had alerted 880 personnel, 549 motorcycles and 22 cars in each location.

"As usual we socialize and educate residents about preventing the spread of COVID-19 outbreak and ways to prevent fires," he stated.
