LRT Jakarta Provides Touchless Ticket Payment Service

PT. LRT Jakarta cooperates with digital-based financial service company, LinkAja to provide touchless ticket payment service for digital or non-cash system. This cooperation is expected to make it easier for customers to use various payment instruments.

Hopefully this cooperation can realize our goals in developing a modern and integrated public transportation network

PT. LRT Jakarta President Director, Wijanarko conveyed, LRT showed improvement in providing non-cash payment service through LinkAja to meet the needs of Jakarta LRT users who are increasingly conducting non-cash transactions.

"Ticket purchasing is not only done through card-based electronic money, but we also develop server-based ticket purchasing through cooperation with LinkAja. Hopefully this cooperation can realize our goals in developing a modern and integrated public transportation network," he mentioned, Monday (8/3).

LRT Jakarta Carla Services Continue to Be Optimized

He informed, applicable tariff for Jakarta LRT is RP 5,000. The balance will be deducted Rp 8,500 when entering the gate and the remaining Rp 3,500 will be returned when tapping out at exit gate.

The remaining balance is not valid if Jakarta LRT users continue their trip using BRT Transjakarta at the integration gate at Pemuda Station - Velodrome.

LinkAja President Director, Haryati Lawidjaja added, LinkAja cooperation as payment partner at LRT Jakarta is one of company's commitment in providing solution for people's various daily needs by expanding access to non-cash payments that can facilitate people's life.

"We hope more people can understand about the importance of using digital transactions in daily activities, including when traveling," she asserted.
