Ciracas Launches Community-based Total Sanitation ProgramIn his remarks, Ariza stated the activity was directed by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan to distribute thousands staple food packages to Malay music and dangdut artists in Jakarta.
"This assistance is intended to provide attention and care. We also encourage all parties to participate in Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) to help anyone in need," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.
He also appreciated PAMMI under the leadership of Biem Bunyamin, who participated in supporting Jakarta Government's program related to Betawi arts, cultures, and cuisine.
"We are grateful because Biem Bunyamin has invited all DPC PAMMI chairmen throughout Jakarta to help socializing health protocols for COVID-19 prevention," he added.
According to him, this participation is very meaningful for everyone, because Jakarta Government also requested all organizations and communities to work together in implementing health protocols to help the others.
"Let us maintain the harmony, togetherness, and ensure that the existence of various cultures and Betawi artists should be maintained well," he conveyed.
In the other hand, Jakarta PAMMI DPD Chairman, Biem Bunyamin expressed his gratitude to Jakarta Government for the assistance that will be distributed evenly to those in need.
He assessed that in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, the situation becomes very difficult for artists, such as singers, musicians, and sound system operators to work in one stage, due to inactivity for these few months, especially after Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) is implemented.
"Those 3,000 staple food packages will be distributed periodically. Actually, there are 5 DPCs from city and regency levels who attend the event. Today, we will collect the data together with Indonesian Malay Cultural Customary Council," he explained.
