Commission D Member Visits Panggang Island to Collect Locals' Aspirations

We want to hear firsthand their aspirations about services and development in the region

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission D Member Muhammad Idris, accompanied by Thousand Islands Acting Regent Junaedi, visited residents of Pramuka and Panggang islands, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands, on Monday (8/10).

During the visit, M. Idris gave a speech to public figures and leaders of regional working unit (SKPD/UKPD), which aimed to collect the aspirations of citizens regarding services and regional development, like culinary site development for UMKM, RSUD class transformation from type D to C and damaged road repair.

"We want to hear firsthand their aspirations about services and development in the region. We also directly involve them (SKPD/UKPD) here to hear live," he expressed.

According to him, it was very important as material for discussion in the DPRD meeting and would be continued in the next discussion in the council with the executive.

Thousand Islands Acting Regent Junaedi added his party appreciated the present of council members in his region and met locals to collect aspirations.

"Hopefully what they (locals) conveyed to them can become a reference and find a solution," he hoped.
