78 PSBB Violators Netted in Cipayung

As many as 40 joint personnel from Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) and FKDM carried out transitional PSBB monitoring in Cipayung Sub-district, East Jakarta on Wednesday (8/12). From this operation, 78 people were netted because they didn't wear mask.

They are subject to social sanction and administrative fines

Cipayung Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Widodo conveyed, PSBB monitoring was carried out by following Jakarta Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 51/2020 and Jakarta Gubernatorial Decree (Kepgub) No. 735/2020 concerning the Implementation of Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in Preventing COVID-19 Transmission.

According to him, joint personnel carried out monitoring in 5 locations, consisting of Munjul Market, Jl. Raya Cilangkap - Jl. Pondok Ranggon, Pondok Ranggon Public Cemetery (TPU), Jl. Raya Cipayung, and Jl.  Malaka of Munjul Urban Village.

Transitional PSBB Period, Satpol PP Records 76,458 Violations in Jakarta

"We have netted 78 PSBB violators from 5 locations. They are subject to social sanction and administrative fines," he said.

In detail, 76 violators were given social sanction and the rest were given administrative fines Rp 500,000 per person. In the future, his side will continue to hold PSBB monitoring in the region.

"We hope the punishment can give deterrent effect for the violators and COVID-19 transmission can be minimized," he mentioned.
