Officers Monitor Health Protocols Implementation in Kelapa Island

Kelapa Island Urban Village Task Force for Acceleration in COVID-19 Handling carried out health protocols monitoring at residential areas in Kelapa Island, North Thousand Islands, this Saturday (8/8).

We reminds people in the island to implement 3M

Kelapa Island Urban Village Government Section Head, Muslim stated, task force personnel were deployed to monitor and socialize 3M (wearing mask, maintaining safe distance, and washing hands) to the residents by walking throughout the alleys and roads in Kelapa Island.

"We found 1 person who didn't wear mask and punished him to clean up the road," he stated.

The violator was not only given social sanction, but also recorded and given a warning letter to ensure he wouldn't repeat his mistakes for the common good.

Health protocols monitoring was not only carried out in residential areas but also in pier, especially to monitor the movement of taxi boats that carrying tourists and cargo boats that deliver staple foods.

"We remind people in the island to implement 3M and not leaving the island if there is no urgent needs," he asserted.
