475 Locations in Thousand Islands Sprayed with Disinfectant

We're doing it to prevent the spread of COVID-19 transmission in Thousand Islands

The North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency has reported that as many as 475 locations have been sprayed with disinfectant during March until August 2020.

Rahmat Kristantio, Head of North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-agency, it was done to follow up the requests of residents, government agencies and safe-island task forces.

"We're doing it to prevent the spread of COVID-19 transmission in Thousand Islands," he expressed, Sunday (8/30).

To spray disinfectant, his side deployed four until five firemen to government agency offices, school buildings, regional secretariat, neighborhood roads, homestays, public facilities, houses of worship and tourist sites for residential islands.

"So for those of you who want to get spraying services, you can write a letter or visit the guard posts on each residential is land to be scheduled," he stated.
